Click Catalysts & MABS
Two student-led communities — where I first learnt how communication, events and content actually come together.

Click Catalysts and MABS are student-led societies I helped build and lead during college. Click Catalysts is a photography and content community; MABS is a media, advertising and branding society. This is where I did most of my early work.
Two student-led communities where I first practised communication, community building and event marketing at a real (if small) scale. Everything here is undergraduate work — earnest, imperfect and the reason I do what I do now.
Student societies live and die on attention and continuity. The challenge was less strategy and more consistency — showing up every week, and helping others do the same.
I contributed to student leadership, community building, event marketing, content strategy, campaign planning and day-to-day digital communication for both societies.
- 01
Built a small, dependable content rhythm across both societies.
- 02
Planned and marketed on-campus events end to end — briefs, posters, socials, on-ground.
- 03
Documented events as they happened so the community had a memory to look back on.
- 04
Trained juniors so the work outlived any one batch.
Most of the good work here happened in cramped rooms with borrowed equipment and unreasonably enthusiastic people. That is a large part of why I still love this discipline.
The Dialogue Room started under these societies. A lot of what I do now traces back to a whiteboard in a college classroom.
Where this work lives on the internet.
A body of student work, a set of communities that still run, and — more usefully — the instincts I brought into everything that came after.
"You learn more from running a small thing badly than from advising a big thing well. Student work is where the reps come from."
